Birmingham(Brum for short) is Britain’s second most populated city .
It lies directly in the centre of UK .
The International Airport is situated 8 miles southeast of City Centre. It lies 60 miles from Manchester and 100 miles from London . It usually voted the most unattractive city in Britain
Birmingham is fighting back to improve its image.
The Selfridge in the Bull Ring in City Centre look at home in Milan or New York . It is covered in 15,000 aluminium discs and was inspired by a Paco Rabanne chain-mall dress .
Brum is a good place to think about modern architecture.
There are a number of child friendly attractions because there are more children here than anywhere else outside London.
